Sustainability, But Make It Meh

We care about the planet. Not in a “we climbed a mountain and started a zero-waste commune” kind of way more like “we make thoughtful choices and try not to ruin things further.”

Let’s be honest: the world’s a bit of a mess. Fast fashion? Too fast. Climate change? Definitely not chill. We’re not out here pretending to save the planet with a t-shirt drop but we are trying to do less harm, make smarter choices, and keep things low-waste and low-bullsh*t.

Every Meh Wear piece is made especially for you (no overstock mountains here), printed with water-based inks, and shipped in packaging made from other people’s trash the recyclable kind, not the emotional kind.

Sustainability isn’t a side hustle. It’s baked in from the t-shirts we print on, to the way we ship them. Because if we’re going to sell mood merch, it shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense.

Here’s what that actually means:

Lower-waste printing

Our designs are printed using DTG or DTF depending on what works best for the artwork both applied only when you order.

That means:

  • No bulk pre-printing
  • No excess ink waste
  • No unsold printed inventory

DTG uses water-based inks and prints directly into the fabric for a soft feel.
DTF allows for vibrant prints without needing large production runs.

Different methods. Same goal: print only what’s needed.

We only make what you order

Every Meh Wear product is made to order; meaning no mass production, no stockpiles of unsold t-shirts, and less textile waste. It takes a little longer to ship, but the planet says thanks. Probably.

Thoughtfully made tees

Our new tees are sourced from manufacturers that prioritize responsible production practices including efficient dye processes, reduced water usage, and minimizing fabric waste during cutting.

They’re also made in facilities that follow fair labor standards and safe working conditions.

Your order ships in post-consumer recycled (PCR) mailers.

That white or grey poly bag your order came in? At least 50% PCR plastic.
Clear inner bags (for multi-item orders)? At least 30% PCR plastic.

That means they're made from old plastic bottles, bags, and other stuff that already existed. It still protects your T-shirt just without adding more junk to the planet.

Sustainability isn’t about being perfect. It’s about doing better.
And if we can do better while wearing cozy, sarcastic T-shirts; that’s kind of our whole thing.
